L’expression « une journée en mer, 3 jours de bricolage » est malheureusement bien réelle!! Depuis notre arrivée, Thierry bricole non-stop !! La chaleur et le soleil brésilien n’ont pas été tendre pour notre cher « Vive la Vie » qui a plus de 30 ans ! Vu son grand âge, il nécessite de plus en plus de « TLC » (tender loving care) !
Après une sieste de 8 mois à terre, il était plus qu’heureux de retrouver son environnement naturel !
The saying of “1 day of sailing equals 3 days of upkeep and repairs” is regrettably ever so true!! Since we arrived, Thierry has been "Mr. Bricoleur" non-stop! Unfortunately the Brazilian sun and heat were not tender on 30+-year-old “Vive la Vie”; given her ripe old age, she just constantly needs a lot of TLC!
After her 8-month sunbath on land, she’s was all the more ready to be back in her natural element once again!
