Thierry et Stacia, lui contrebassiste à l’Orchestre National de Montpellier, elle vidéaste, tous deux voyageurs au long cour ont entamés depuis 2016 un tour du monde sur leur voilier « Vive La Vie ». Ils réalisent tout au long de leur voyage des créations vidéo-musicales partagées entre enfants de 7 à 77 ans d’écoles et de villages français et de pays étrangers où ils font escale.
Le thème de ces créations et de leur projet : Tout simplement « VIVE LA VIE » le nom de leur voilier. Sur des musiques de Thierry, le tout filmé par Stacia, enfants et villageois écrivent et chantent leurs propres paroles qui enrichissent des objets musicaux multiculturels partagés.
Leurs premières créations vidéo-musicales 2017/2018 ont été franco-capverdiennes, partagées entre 3 villages de l’Hérault et l’île de Sao Nicolau au Cap Vert.

A leur retour en France, Thierry et Stacia, en partenariat avec l’Orchestre National de Montpellier, proposent aux écoles montpelliéraines un spectacle vidéo-musicale autour des créations musicales réalisées. Une balade musicale interactive entre musiciens sur scène et images sur l’écran dans le pays où ils ont fait escale. Les enfants spectateurs partent en voyage; ils découvrent un pays, sa culture et sa musique.
The Project
Thierry, doublebassist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Montpellier, and Stacia, videographer, are both long-time travelers who began a round-the-world tour in 2016 on their sailboat "Vive La Vie". Throughout their travels, they produce video-musical creations...multicultural collaborations between French children and villagers and children and villagers in the foreign countries they travel to.
The theme of these creations and their project is "Vive La Vie", the name of their sailboat. Thierry composes the music, Stacia shoots the video, the children and villagers write and sing their lyrics for these collective multicultural musical productions.
Their video-musical creations of 2017/2018 were Franco-Cape Verdean, including 3 villages of the Hérault region in France and their counterparts in the island of Sao Nicolau in Cape Verde.
When Thierry and Stacia return to France, and in partnership with the Montpellier National Symphony Orchestra, they present video-musical concerts to schoolchildren of Montpellier and the region ... embarking the children on an interactive musical ballad discovering a new country, and bit of its culture and music.
